Data Center Relocation
Relocation of a data center requires careful planning and implementation.
Specialized Transportation Solutions has over two decades of experience in data center relocation projects. The logistics services we provide include:
- Ground or air transportation (dedicated, secure, climate-controlled)
- Crating as requested
- Equipment wrapped in anti-static bubble wrap and placed in protective container
- Racks protected with anti-static bubble- and/or shrink-wrap, and blanked wrapped
- Corner boards for protection
- Loading of equipment, secured with cargo bars and double or triple straps to prevent shifting
- Monitoring of vehicle, always kept secure and locked
- Inside delivery to data center
- Unloading and removal of packing gear upon request
- Cargo insurance available upon request
